As promised we are now taking garden table bookings from Monday 12 April…it’s been far too long since we have seen you all.
We have been working hard on the garden and we now have extra seating in the Turk’shed. We’ve done our best to `winterproof’ this area and we think you’ll like what we’ve done from the backdoor onwards.
Please remember we can only take reservations for the rule of 6 or 2 households and we are still a seated only environment so please book a table to guarantee yourself a seat. We will also be asking you to book a ‘socially responsible’ 2 hour slot.
So here’s what we’ve all been waiting for !! Drum roll please…
The opening hours for 12th April to 17th May as follows;
– Monday 12th April and Tuesday 13th April open 4-9pm for drinks only
– Weds 14th to Saturday 17th open for lunchtime food 12-2.30pm (close at 3pm) and evening food 4.30-8pm with last orders at 9pm and doors close 10pm. Sunday 18th open 12-8pm with lunch 12-3pm, no evening food.
Don’t forget there is no “scotch egg” rule anymore and we will take 2 hour bookings just for drinkers.
– Week 2 onwards commencing 19th April up to week commencing 10th May we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and opening hours Wednesday to Sunday as outlined above.
As we can only open the garden we are beholden to the weather and our opening times reflect this. If for any reason we feel the weather is too bad we will (sadly) be cancelling your booking, conversely if it’s scorchio we will open more hours.
The phone lines are not open yet but you can book via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bring on 17th May!!!
Please note: if you are not dining we cannot guarantee you a seat in the Turk’shed
Timber frames, flagstone floors and three snug fireplaces give the place its olde-worlde, home from home vibes with a vast array of premium drinks to tickle the fancies of our lively local crowd and Alcester’s many visitors. We boast a wide selection of continental lagers, real ales and fine wines; the icing on The Turks’ cake being good, honest food.
The very best ingredients are home cooked and presented in generous portions, for hungry bellies who appreciate fine flavours. We work extremely hard to find the right potatoes for our famous chips; and our suppliers work equally hard to find the highest quality meat, fish and seasonal vegetables to serve on your plate.
We are proud to offer seven imported premium draught beers, two of the finest English draught ciders and four real ale pumps showcasing Britain’s cask conditioned triumphs. A diverse wine list featuring eight wines by the glass, a full line up of spirits, bottled beers, ciders and more makes for an intoxicating mix of choice and quality.
